‘The Imaginaries’ Perform August 12 on Prescription Vineyards ‘Friday-Eve Live’ – a Virtual Musical Showcase!

Friday-Eve Live - The Imaginaries
The Imaginaries performed on OneMic, the minimalist recording series, centered around the one stereo ribbon microphone at the historic Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Sheffield, AL. The performance inspired the duo to record their debut album at the legendary studio.

We’re thrilled to announce that ‘The Imaginaries,’ a husband and wife duo based out of Oklahoma, will join us for our ‘Fri-Eve Live’ virtual showcase performances this August! Maggie McClure and Shane Henry will perform songs from their self-titled new album recorded in the mythical musical town of Muscle Shoals, AL. Produced with Grammy-Award-winning engineer, John Cuniberti, they also enlisted the help of the legendary Muscle Shoals “Swampers” session musicians.

Playing off the pop-culture phenomenon of people jump-starting their weekend and calling Thursday nights’ Friday Eve,’ the happy hour mixer is part wine tasting, part musical showcase. The evening’s wine and music will pair with delicious bites by Élevage SoHo Kitchen & Bar, Hotel Epicurean’s exceptional restaurant, its menu developed out of Bern’s Steak House traditions.

The opening night celebration is in partnership with Creative Loafing Tampa and iHeartRadio. The night’s musical showcase guest is artist Carl Wockner. Wockner was named the first and only Australian artist to win Top Honors at the International Acoustic Music Awards (USA). He also scored in the top of the AAA category with his album Crayon Days with producer Michael Flanders in Nashville, Tennessee. He was recently awarded “Musician of the Year 20/21” by Western Australia Prestige Awards.

“iHeartMedia is excited to be a part of and attend ‘Friday-Eve Live’ on June 17 at Epicurean,” said April Easterly, Promotions Director at Rumba 106.5 and US 103.5. “As the kick-off to Tampa Bay Restaurant Week, our very own Tampa Talents can’t wait to experience the great food and sips from the Bay. Katie Sommers on middays with 93.3 FLZ, and Ian Beckles, who is on evenings as Co-Host of Beckles and Recher on 95.3 WDAE, will be attending.”

Tickets are $25 each in advance ($35 at the door if available) and include five wine tasting tickets, light nosh, and Wockner’s musical showcase performance. Hotel Epicurean will also offer a special appetizer menu and drinks for purchase. ‘Friday-Eve Live’ guests are also encouraged to book advance dinner reservations to follow the happy hour event! Guests must be 21 with a valid photo ID to attend.
